Tax and Tax, Spend and Spend: A Policy of Change?

Let's be honest, if you had the chance to make money out of nothing and it would be accepted as the currency of the land, wouldn't you be tempted to roll the presses? And what if you could convince say 456 others to agree with you and give you legal authority to create $700 billion, would you have the courage to resist? And what if some of those in your exclusive club had already accepted "contributions" to ensure that they would rubber stamp this illusion, would you be willing to stand outside in the cold? What we are witnessing at this moment in history is the complete restructuring of our American capitalist system. We are seeing the system being tilted toward socialism in a way that would have in the past had to have been done under the cover of darkness. Today it is happening before our eyes on television. One individual is demanding that all of us get in line and cough up the dough to bail out the failed companies that he had been part of creating. How could this happen? Where is the revolt? The new Boston Tea Party? Have we come to the point of complacency that we no longer care? I am concerned that quote, "Tax and tax, spend and spend, the people are too damned dumb to understand," is being verified.
